Abbe Oaks locates to new human services campus
Abbe Oaks has opened its office at the new Human Services Campus at 317 7th Ave., SE, Suite 304, in Cedar Rapids.
Abbe Oaks helps families of children who struggle with behaviors in school, have conflicts with friends and experience problems at home. In addition, mental health experts and remedial (skill-building) counselors at Abbe Oaks work as a team with teachers, guidance counselors and parents to help children control anger, reduce outbursts and manage disruptive behavior.
The Abbe Oaks partnership was formed in 2009 when two long-standing local agencies, Four Oaks and Abbe Center for Mental Health combined to offer services dedicated to making children and families whole again.
