Four Oaks and Jane Boyd Have Merged

Serving our Communities to build a stronger tomorrow

In 2001, the Jane Boyd Community House joined the Four Oaks Enterprise to better serve community members through expanding our continuum of services.  For over 100 years, Jane Boyd has provided a wide variety of prevention services (out-of-school programs, family support, parenting classes, basic needs/community resource supports) targeting youth and families who were at risk of becoming involved with Department of Human Services (DHS) or Juvenile Court Services (JCS). Over the years, many of the families served at Jane Boyd, also utilized Four Oaks community-based programs (Therapy, Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS), Integrated Health Home (IHH), Cornerstone (Family Development and Self-Sufficiency Program), Affordable Housing Network, Inc.’s Housing, and more), and our affiliation has allowed us to become more efficient and effective at cross-referring families and working as integrated teams with Four Oaks programs.

Due to declining funding, the Four Oaks and Jane Boyd Boards voted to merge Four Oaks and Jane Boyd into one single organization in order to streamline operations and reduce costs.

There will be no change in Jane Boyd staff members or services to families. Jane Boyd programs, including Achievement Academy and Entrepreneur Edge, will remain the same, as will all building names.

We are committed to helping children and families, and together we assure success through the use of innovative care to build a stronger tomorrow.
